Natural Response S.A. 于 1995 年开始与总部位于加利福尼亚的私营公司 Desert King 合作。在合作之前,Desert King 的业务主要基于从墨西哥丝兰中提取的皂苷。6 两家公司于 1999 年成立了合资企业。22 Desert King 逐步收购了 Natural Response S.A. 100% 的股份,Natural Response 于 2019 年更名为 Desert King Chile。23,24,25,26 到2000 年代末,Desert King 的年收入已达数千万美元。6 Desert King 现在是全球疫苗用 QS-21 前体的主要供应商(见下一节)。
